I love Gilmore Girls for the strong and independent women characters. From Lorelai who runs a business and raises a daughter on her own, to Lane who is in a quest to follow her dreams, it is truly inspiring. It will forever be one of my comfort tv show and a must watch in fall.

AUTHOR RACHEL CARSON

I admire Rachel Carson because she was the first marine biologist to denounce the effects of organochlorine pesticides. She opened the door to a lot of new research on the effects of these pesticides on the environment and humans. Her book Silent Springs is an amazing read.
